Robert WoodBorn and raised a Kiwi (That’s New Zealander for those who don’t know). I’ve lived throughout New Zealand and now reside in Auckland. I got my first SLR when I was 17 and then attended Whitecliffe College Of Arts And Design in the early 90’s. I worked as a Photography assistant and then a Freelance Photographer for a few years, before finding the financial rewards of the hospitality industry far more lucrative and wound up working as a bar tender and then bar manager for 10 years. I then re-trained in the IT industry where I’ve been for the last 15 years.

These days I shoot purely for the adventure and the fun of getting out there, seeing and doing different things. I have always had a passion for wildlife and all the creatures we share this planet with. So I spend every chance I get trying to see and photograph the creatures of the world.
